Who is SmartCookie for?
SmartCookie is for language teachers who teach on their own, online or in person, and for small academies and teams of teachers who share a calendar.
If you have students, teach lessons and charge for them, it's for you. We built it from real language lessons (mine, for 9 years), so that's where it fits best, but it works for any subject. Teaching on your own? Start with SmartCookie for private tutors.
SmartCookie is a good fit if you

What does SmartCookie do?
SmartCookie brings the admin side of teaching into a single app: calendar, booking link, lesson notes, student records with packs, payments and a private portal for each student.

How much does SmartCookie cost?
SmartCookie costs €19 a month for one teacher, or €15.20 a month if you pay yearly. It includes every feature and you can try it free for 14 days without a card.
Teams, for small academies and teams of teachers, is paid per teacher: €19 a month per teacher, €17 from the 4th and €15 from the 16th. And you never pay per student, so adding Laura doesn't raise your fee.
Prices exclude VAT. And you can cancel any time: no lock-in.
How do your students pay you?
Your students pay you by card or Bizum through Stripe. SmartCookie keeps 0.6% of each online payment, Stripe's fee is separate and payments you mark by hand cost nothing.
Turn lessons taught, a pack or the monthly fee into a payment request and send it. That way you stop chasing transfers at the end of the month (and that little voice saying "she'll pay me eventually").
Laura pays by transfer and Marcos in cash? Perfect: mark them as paid by hand, at no cost, and their records stay up to date.

What doesn't SmartCookie do?
SmartCookie doesn't find you new students and doesn't issue legal invoices. It organizes the students you already have.
Who is behind SmartCookie?
SmartCookie is built by Martina Monreal, a language teacher since 2016, and Óscar Pulido, a software developer, who launched it together in 2025.
Yours truly spent years with lessons in one app, payments in another and notes in a notebook that was frankly terrifying. So we built the app I dreamed of as a teacher: Óscar turns the ideas I give him into code, and then I make sure (by asking teachers like you) that the tool really works for every teacher, on any given Tuesday at 5:58pm, with Laura about to join class.
